Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Brown.
Hi Ashley, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always had a way with organization, making appointments for people, etc, since I was young. I always thought to myself “I should be someone’s assistant” but I never did anything with those thoughts. Fast forward to the beginning of 2021, my husband was injured severely and it made me wear the hat again of keeping up with things like doctor’s appointments to knowing how much medical supplies he has on top of being a new mom for only 2 1/2 months. This made my thinking cap come back on because I was doing all of this with ease. I finally sat down and said, let me put my plan together and in February 2022, Assisting With Elegance LLC was born.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been as smooth of a road that people think it is when you start a business. Like anything you go after, you are learning as you go because you’ve never done this before. With my business, it’s the same way. I fall in love over and over with my business because as I continue, I realize what I want or don’t want.

Assisting With Elegance LLC is a Virtual Assistant business that caters to mom-owned businesses. I do not care if you are black, white, brown, purple, I just want you to be a mom. I chose this audience because I once was in their shoes. Not professionally but personally, dealing with juggling being a mom, being a wife, taking care of everything along with yourself, and feeling just overwhelmed sometimes. I specialize in managing emails and calendars, setting appointments, new hire training, interviewing potential hires, managing social media, project management and travel coordination. I want the readers to know that Assisting With Elegance LLC is about putting our mom-owned business owners first and giving them a helping hand, so not only their business doesn’t suffer, but neither does their personal life. I have packages for administrative help and also for managing social media. I also customize packages because not every business is the same so naturally the needs of the business owners are not always the same.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love Atlanta. I am a native okay! I was born at Georgia Baptist way before it became Atlanta Medical. I love the diversity of every county and just how it’s different things to do. What I don’t like is that our city is now being known for something that it used to not be. All the senseless violence that is occurring is not who we are and I wish it would stop.
