Amanda, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
CAKESMASH ATL was founded in 2016 by me, Amanda Hale. It started as a side hustle that quickly turned into a full-time business. I am a self-taught designer and always eager to learn new trends and work with other creatives.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I have been fortunate to have a strong client base through the course of owning CAKESMASH ATL, but like all businesses, we have had our ups and downs. Our hardest time was definitely in 2020, as it was for so many small businesses. We are thankful for all of the clients that have continued to entrust us with their vision, even in the midst of attempting to recover from such a difficult time in our world.

CAKESMASH ATL offers full-scale branding for small businesses. We have a passion for helping others take the small, necessary steps to presenting their most genuine selves to an audience of their most desired clients online + IRL. We specialize in logo design, social media design, web design, print design, and apparel design.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Sledding in 32 inches of snow in Baltimore, Maryland before moving to Georgia. That was a fun time!
