Today we’d like to introduce you to Antione Taylor.
Hi Antione, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hello, my name is Antione Taylor Mogul, Actor, Creator who started Mogul’s in the Making four years ago on my college campus as a student at Michigan State University to connect young entrepreneurs, creators, artists, and other students together to find out better ways that we can assist each other to uplift our individual brands. MITM is not just a brunch but a lifestyle and community. A community full of some of the top young artists, entrepreneurs, curators and many others who truly exemplify what it means to be a Mogul in the Making!
Moguls are people who have created a remarkable brand for themselves and made it extremely apparent that they are on the road to success.
These self-motivated and dedicated individuals have not only been an outstanding asset to our community but even more of an outstanding asset to the brunch!
The purpose of the brunch is to highlight the importance of networking, branding, elevation of success, and other key skills to being successful together to uplift our community.
The annual event is an experience filled with great content, awards, guest speakers, food, community grant sponsorships, giveaways, and even a few surprises.
The outlook of Moguls in the Making is to be a liaison between adults and students of all levels to pursue the best version of themselves.
For over three years now, MITM has connected over 400+ people together! And the best part about it is that we are just getting started!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
During the 2022 year of planning my brunch, I was hit with two obstacles in the same week, only days away from my event. My venue that I was having my brunch at unfortunately canceled on me due to construction issues and on top of all of that, My Grandmother passed away after dealing with health complications for over ten years. This has probably been the most challenging thing I have ever had to go through in my life. So many times, I thought about just giving up and throwing in the towel, but what would that solve? I keep asking myself. My grandmother did not raise a quitter and every day when I feel low, I keep hearing her voice in my head telling me to keep going and to never give up no matter what! — Adversities cause some to break and others to break records so now the only thing I can do is to keep going and keep my faith in God.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a curator who loves to cultivate events by bringing people together to connect in an environment that is unmatched with a positive, motivative, uplifting atmosphere that you will never get anywhere else. I believe what sets Moguls in the Making apart is that we are not afraid to push our Attendees outside of their comfortable zone to connect and meet new people. MITM isn’t not just a brunch but a place where business and networking happen. I’m most proud that at this year’s brunch we will be giving away $1000 in grant money to one lucky guest to help them finance their business or creation. This year we will also be highlighting seven additional moguls at the brunch by presenting them with the “2022 Mogul Award”.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
Biggest thing I love about Atlanta is that it’s really the new Hollywood. I feel like Atlanta is full of nothing but talented people and amazing opportunities. There are so many people who’s just ready to connect and network with each other. It’s definitely a great place to start your career especially if you’re trying to break into the entertainment industry. The only downside is the traffic lol, I love my City of Detroit because that’s where they breed nothing but true hustlers so the most thing, I’m excited about in the future of Moguls in the Making in Atlanta is crossing over the two different communities to make an even bigger impact!
