Today we’d like to introduce you to Trinette CollierGreene.
Hi Trinette, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
After graduating high school in 1990, my family and I traveled from Los Angeles, California to Atlanta, Georgia so that I could attend college. I enrolled at Morris Brown College and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. My dream was to become a principal and eventually open my own daycare/school. Over time in my career, I fell in love with being in the classroom because it was fun, safe, comfortable, challenging and I felt connected with my students and the school. However, decades later, a global shift took place in the world and the educational field. Major decisions had to be made due to health so therefore, I was ‘forced’ into my new calling of coaching.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to coaching was actually smooth until my passion grew for it. It was hard to teach and coach because full-time teaching was my career with the income so I somewhat treated coaching as a side hustle…in the beginning. Teaching required all of my time and energy so I was unable to really invest at first. However, once I made a commitment to fully pursue coaching, then the road became hectic and challenging as I tried to balance both. The struggles were very tiring, exhausting, disheartening, financially exhausting and just didn’t feel like I was giving my best. It became discouraging until I committed to my dream.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a Certified Relationship Strategist and I’m here to inspire you to develop better relationships with your loved ones including yourself by providing strategies and tools to assist with building healthier relationships.
Although life’s situations and even people may have an influence on you, choosing to work with a life coach means that you’re ready to take full responsibility of your life moving forward. This frees up the energy that you would normally use in past disappointments, resentments and bitterness.
I’ve coined the title “Inspirationalist” because it is through my advocacy of life and celebration that my gifts and talents have manifested. TLC provides workshops and ideas for groups and individuals who desire to improve relationships with themselves and others. This is done through strategically designed blueprints that are tailored to each specific client. These strategies foster measured success that enhances vertical and horizontal relationships.
I am most proud of creating a 30-Day Journal to Building Self Love because I actually went through these steps before becoming a coach. I didn’t want to offer clients cookie-cutter advice, I wanted to provide clients with authentic strategies that were actually real and attainable. I am also proud of my radio show that also provides coaching for the male audience. I am able to coach both men & women but in different arenas and that is why I’m proud.
I want readers to know that I am passionate about helping all to seek peace, love and understanding of relationships especially the relationship with self. Building healthy self-love is essential and can happen.
