Priscilla, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Prior to starting my business, I worked in Corporate America for 22 years in the telecommunications field designing and provisioning circuits for Att.
In 2017, Att had a worldwide surplus and many of us were forced to retire, relocate or start other careers. So instead of going back to the work field, I decided I would try my hand at entrepreneurship.
I figured this time around I’d invest in myself and do something I would enjoy doing so I enrolled into bartending school to learn the basics and to also learn more about the industry. After my completion of bartending school, I didn’t necessarily want to bartend in nightclubs or restaurants. I wanted to be my own boss so I started my own mobile bartending catering business.
I wanted to create a business where I could express my creativity and truly love and enjoy what I do… I wanted to create a world that my son and daughter wouldn’t be fearful to step out on faith and truly go for what they want to achieve in life. To take that passion and turn it into generational wealth. You have to be fearless!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not! I faced some truly challenging times when Covid hit. When the world shut down, I was terrified. I depend on the entertainment event industry to thrive to make a living. So with bartending and hosting being my only means to paying my bills, I had to think fast. I invested $20,000 into a Corporate Cleaning Franchise during the height of Covid. It was the best decision I was able to make in my life it actually saved my livelihood and kept me from being homeless. I thank God my Cleaning Franchise is currently doing extremely well in the market, along with my Bartending Business.

At Exclusive Cocktails & Events, our mission is simple: To provide our clients with an excellent experience one cocktail at a time. Exclusive Cocktails & Events mobile bartending business serves Atlanta and other surrounding metro and middle Ga areas like Macon, Warner Robins and Perry Georgia. We have also had the pleasure in servicing our out-of-town clients in Washington DC, Miami and Missouri.
Our goal is to offer bartending services to private and corporate clients in the best way we can.
We are in the mobile bartending business to serve our clients both traditional and nontraditional drinks in whichever way they might want it served at their events. This means we will serve alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic drinks, in traditional mixes or creating new blends for our clients.
We also provide rental event equipment such as bars, chairs, fog machines, champagne walls, upstage lighting and so much more.
My aim for starting this business wasn’t only to generate revenue and make a profit, But to also be able to compete favorably against our competitors – new or already existing here in Atlanta. My vision is to be amongst the top three mobile bartenders for our target market here and also to offer our various clients a high sense of professionalism infused with fun in our mobile bartending experience.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was respectful, outgoing, ambitious, hardworking, and enterprising. A true Capricorn! From singing in the church and high school choir to being one of the performers to open up for the Legendary Outkast. Participating in extracurricular activities has always been a part of my life. It helped with my transition into adulthood and connecting to others. I have always been a magnet for positive energy and meeting like-minded people.
