Hi Crystal, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The name of my company is Free by Ferrer. I am located in Atlanta, Georgia and I from the Bronx, Newyork. I am black own business, my slogan is “We live fit to live free.” I’m an ex-college basketball player and fitness has been a major part of my life from the age of 12 years old. I started by playing basketball to escape my reality. From there, I grew a passion of being the best version of myself. I promise myself that my environment or my circumstances would never get in the way of what I would be.
So, I started a fitness brand to inspired people to push for greatness no matter what the circumstances are! We all deserve to live free and be the best version of ourselves. I hope to inspire people to reach their full potential no matter what the world hands us. Live Free!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I struggled with finding my passion because I had a hard time identifying who I truly was. Also, I was really good at a lot of things, but I always wanted to give something powerful to others that was giving to me. The power to survive and push for greatness, no matter what! I remember as a child my mother telling me that my life was in my hands and I have the decision to be whoever I want. So, decided to be my best because losing could never be an option.

Free by Ferrer is a fitness company, we sell merch, we motivated and inspire people from the struggle that anything is possible. We specialize in cardio, hitt, strength training, weight-loss and mental health exercises. My company is very different from others because we encourage people to find the best within themselves because that’s what really matters. My most proudest moment in my company is helping a woman lose over 40 pounds and inspiring women each day that life is what you make it and we all can live free. If we just take one foot forward and have no fear!
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I would not say it’s luck; I would say it’s God! He has brought me thru some of the most dramatic and traumatic experiences in my life because he knows I deserve to live free. And that I am thankful for!
