Hi Robin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started by a career 41 years ago. I have always loved working with people and solving problems and real estate allows me to do both. I built my business with integrity and a good work ethic. I value my relationships I build with my clients and my colleagues. My approach to success has been that I believe the home selling experiences should be personal, memorable, and flawless. My daughter Lauren joined me in real estate and together, we are building our business on the relationships we make in our business and keep. We both specialize in residential real estate and relocation, and the two of us work hard for the many people we have the pleasure to serve.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life is not a smooth road, and real estate is not for the faint at heart. Over my 41 years, I have seen many things come and go in the market. I have seen technology change and I have seen the market crash. The past two years had to be the most challenging for everyone. Yes, it was nice to have homes sell overnight, lines of people to see your next listing. Sad to say, that was not fun. The demands that were on sellers, buyers, lenders, and agents was just too much. It’s the market that we all thought would be a perfect dream, and instead, it was a nightmare for many.
