Hoffa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started promoting college parties and events throughout Ohio while I attended Shawnee State University, where I earned my B.A. in Business Communications & English. We started bringing celebrities and realized we were just as ambitious and driven so we expanded our brand into music and entertainment. He created artistic and creative environments and provided an outlet for artists, producers, engineers , promoters, videographers, and all other music and entertainment outlets. The company, Gentlemen Making Good Financial Choices, participated in the first Revolt Summit in Atlanta, and never looked back. The Atlanta area became the base of operations for GMGFC or Get Money Get Fresh Crew / Get Money Get Fresh (known to the entertainment world). I started managing various artists such as GeTiTPoPPiN, KASH K, BossLife Las, SisAli, and eight years old rising star Reno Money. We have been all over the USA and Caribbean Islands promoting, performing, and conducting business.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. Lots of manipulative people and situations forced me to become a bigger Boss! Meaning, I had to make sure all my paperwork and contracts were always in order with the T’s crossed and the I’s dotted. Also, maneuvering through the talkers and the doers. It took a lot of losses, time, diligent effort, and maximum motivation to build a great network system that today I call my business associates and confidants. But as many shady people or situations I dealt with; the Universe doubled me up with great, honest, driven, successful entrepreneurs and business owners, and corporations. And along the way I became a seasoned. Still in my prime thought ready to win back to back championships .
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve released musical content on all the major streaming platforms, but what I specialize in is artist management and development. I have a passion for helping artists embark upon their musical career goals. I like to show progression, educate in the business, and push artists’ creatively outside their box! As long as the artists works just as hard as me, I try my best to put the artist in ideal positions for elevation, networking, and creation of quality content in the industry.
I am known for being a solid business-man in the entertainment industry. And also for managing eight years old rising superstar rapper Reno Money, who has been on tour with Thatgirllaylay from Nickelodeon, and also had a show with Young Dylan from Nickelodeon, and rising star KASH MANIA. Reno Money is my son, so I am very proud of his path and the opportunities presented to him at this time. What sets me apart is my ambition. I don’t easily get detoured, I usually find a solution if a solution is possible, and I operate on a very high level.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Do everything on a high level. I built up to a high level, but I regret not coming out the gate with specialized marketing plans and organized ventures from the very beginning. My best advice is have a budget and utilize it properly. One great project/product beats ten mediocre projects/products. I’m hindsight I wish I bet bigger on myself earlier in my plight.
