Check Out Bazz’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bazz.

Hi Bazz, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started out in college and then I eventually just stopped showing up. I quickly transitioned into film and trying to be a screenwriter or producer to one of my favorite shows. Then that somehow segued into writing music. So now I write full time and I still try to take online classes, I guess?

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. It’s taken so many years to focus – I have all of the ambition without the drive it seems. I literally have to make myself focus or I’ll drift off completely through life.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I guess I’m a rapper. I’m specifically known for melodic lyrics and very catchy stanza-type of raps over super ambient beats. I’m most proud of my single on Soundcloud. It’s like my only song I’ve released really. I mean, I had like four EPs on there as well then I got obsessive and removed them. But that’s one I’m proud of and the reception to it was amazing.

How do you think about happiness?
Writing in general. It could be poems or comics or literally whatever. I’m in my Notes app all day long writing down random things that probably don’t mean anything. But it’s seriously like my worst fear – dying and having everyone read my thoughts. Other things that make me happy are watching American Dad, Instagram deep dives, traveling, and meeting strange (not sketchy) personalities.
