Check Out Keshona Stuvaints’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keshona Stuvaints.

Hi Keshona, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ll start by saying thank you Voyage ATL for this opportunity. My name is Keshona but everyone knows me by Rozay. I was born & raised in Pittsburgh PA where I’ve been a club promoter/host since 2010. I always had a love for hair since a kid so I felt it was only right for my first business to be hair & lashes. I launched Crowning Glory Hair Extensions in May of 2018. While trying out different methods to market my business, I realized how interested I was in modeling. The pictures always turned out well and were attractive enough to sell so I did just that! I launched a self-titled T-shirt line incorporating my photoshoots and sold over 200+ shirts in a six months time span. Once I realized I was able to sell out of anything I launched Jolie Fille Boutique & Cartier Lennon which is a kid’s clothing line named after my son. The love and support I’ve received & continue to receive is awesome.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
A smooth road? Haha. Of course not! There’s been days where I’ve wanted to give up on everything but as we all know nothing worth having comes easy. I’ve dealt with deaths along the way I never seen myself recovering from but I learned how to turn my hurt into hustle! There’s also been times I’ve gotten discouraged because I haven’t made any sales. When this happens, I go back to the drawing board to see what I can improve on instead of giving up.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m still a work in progress, I haven’t really figured out what I want to specialize in just yet. However, whatever industry I end up in I want to provide the best experience possible for all my customers & supporters. I’m most known for my social media presence as well as my party promoting/hosting & modeling. I find joy in doing both, seeing people enjoy themselves at my events is a great feeling & being behind the camera at my photoshoots makes me feel fulfilled. I’m most proud of adjusting to being a full-time single mom & a business owner. It’s hard to maintain your own life once you become a parent, and for that reason a lot of single parents, especially mothers, May feel restricted or held back because of their parental duties. It’s the opposite for me as I believe my son motivated me to go harder!

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I definitely see a lot of changes & trends coming into play in the next 5-10 years. Change is inevitable, it may not always be good but you can’t avoid it.
