Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Thomas.
Taylor, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Since childhood, I have always had a loving heart for movies. As I was reaching the end of high school, I still didn’t know who or what I wanted to be or do. Then came to a conclusion of working in the film industry. First step was learning how to use a camera. I got my 1st camera in 2021 and started shooting. Now I am learning what it takes to be a creative photographer. Photography and film go hand in hand because of the lights, angles, and theme of the shoot or story. I am striving to become a Director and Cinematographer. Also, I am an entrepreneur too. I own two businesses a cosmetics, beauty business called Divinely Aligned Cosmetics and my photography business called Tzcreativehotspot. Today I attend film school- Georgia Film Academy. I am currently working on my PA certificate. So I will be able to work on any production set. I can’t think of anywhere else I would want to be other than the Entertainment Industry.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There has definitely been obstacles, when is there not? One of my biggest obstacles is myself. I know I hold power but still don’t know how to use it in a way that benefits me. My mind and spirit always are at battle with what to do next, what to work on next, how to go about goals/tasks, when to start new projects, when to post content, what to make my content about, how I can stand out and be unique in my own way. There are so many struggles and obstacles….and sometimes I let it stop me, but eventually, I get back up and keep moving. Especially running a business.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As of now, my work consists of photography and self-care products. My favorite type of photography is creative because I get to bring my vision/dream to reality. Which always brings me great happiness than anything else. DAC (Divinelyalignedcosmetics) is all about having the confidence and balance within yourself to shift the universe. Every day we are divinely aligned to our purpose and I want others to know they are important no matter how they might feel right now. Always believe you are made for a greater and better life.

A podcast I always listen to when I feel other than happy is by Jay Shetty and his podcast is called ‘ON PURPOSE’. I love reading self-help books and a book I’m reading right now is called ‘The Code of the Extraordinary Mind’ by Vishen Lakhiani’.
