Hi Kira, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Kapturing moments through photography has always been something I’ve enjoyed. The thought of monetizing it never crossed my mind until other people pointed out how good my images were & from there Kaptured by. K’ was born.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Starting a business is never easy, especially b/c things don’t always go as planned. You have to know your strengths & weaknesses & lot of that comes by trial & error. It can be tough managing a business in a world led by social media. Understanding how to market, knowing your target audience, engaging with your audience, & knowing what your audience is interested in can be difficult. Also, networking is extremely important.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in Portrait & Event Photography both formal & informal. I enjoy taking part in the creative process while my clients have an experience that contributes to their confidence & self-esteem. In just a few seconds, I KAPTURE an image & bring it to life, & help to create memories that will last forever.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The Covid Crisis taught me that life is short. We have to enjoy life & everything it has to offer us, the highs, the lows, & those in between moments. In business, you have to step out of your comfort zone & go for what you want. Don’t wait till until tomorrow b/c tomorrow is not promised.
