Rising Stars: Meet Christian Stringfellow

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Stringfellow.

Hi Christian, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
The thought process behind Christian & Co. was to create a lux event design company that specializes in every event imaginable. It was a desire to connect with clients and turn their black-and-white ideas into colorful dreams that will hold memories for a lifetime. The smiles on my client’s faces when entering their events was my initial inspiration to launch my dream company. I have been daydreaming about events and designing them for the past 15 years, but it took my friends and family’s constant encouragement to turn it into a business. They would notice the unique events and detail in which I planned parties for my kids and friends and that ignited the courage in me to turn Christian & Co. into an official business years ago. Since making that pivot I have took pride in the detail and unique things that each client wants for their special occasions. No two Christian & Co. Events are the same and I feel great about that because I strive on making it a special experience for each client.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I will say that my journey into entrepreneurship has been a great learning experience. I find that nothing in life is smooth especially when you are speaking of dreaming something from your brain and actualizing it. That is the exciting part of it all. I appreciate the challenge of creating something new, discovering ways to get better, making my clients smile and balancing it all with the business aspect of juggling a family. The biggest learning curve has been learning how to balance raising a family and elevating my business. I do this by making sure I carve out time to decompress for myself, organize and plan. When I do all of those things it makes my work for the week a lot easier. I do want all of the women out there to know that it is indeed possible to be a mommy, a wife and still excel at your business.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I pride myself in precise planning, diligent laying out the details for my client’s individual need, timely and exceptional execution and flawless effort. I give maximum effort in every single detail of the event planning process, so I view every detail as special. It can be floral arrangements, to a tablescape to the smallest selection of details, my intention is to always cater to my client’s individual desires. These are the marquee trademarks for Christian & Co. My biggest accomplishment is that my clients have developed trust in me year after year to plan their special milestones. I get a chance to witness my clients go from celebrating social parties to brides then to mothers. It is nothing like that feeling and I am thrilled to be chosen year after year. The biggest lesson that I learned is to always treat every event like it’s mine. I require a standard of excellence, grace and greatness in every aspect of my life. I am always striving to create my best. That approach has served me well in my business because when someone hires Christian & Co. they should know that they will get the best I have to offer. That has fortunately brought a lot of happy clients and it is my plan to continue that level of quality.

What matters most to you?
My family matters the absolute most to me. Because of them, I strive to show up as the best version of myself. That excellence is shown in my daily life as well as my professional life. It is my goal to show them that women can have it all. An amazing and healthy family unit as well as a great career that you’re passionate about.
