Conversations with Tracy Moss

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy Moss.

Tracy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I come from a big family. One day I cooked for the family and everyone loved it. From there, I started offering my meals to other people. I always got good feedback which made me take it more seriously. When people started requesting my meals and paying for them, I knew I was on to something.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My road was quite bumpy, lol. In the beginning, I had to learn that every day is not a $1000 day. I learned to use the downtime to work on other aspects of my business. Any work you do towards your business is beneficial.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a personal chef. I am known for my lasagna and my sweet potato muffins. I’m most proud of how far I have came with my business and with creating new recipes. I believe what sets me apart from others is that I try to create new recipes that are just made my way. I take time to research foods and spices.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe answering my calling has led to my success. Even though in the beginning I kept running from it but eventually, it was inevitable.
