Hi Starr, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Superstarr Igloos last year. I wanted to always have my own creative space in the convivence of my home. I purchased a Dome from amazon after I tried to book one at ponce rooftop. I purchased this dome and realize I was in over my head, as it came in 300 pieces. I had spent 4 hours putting one together for the first time. I finally accomplished his 4-hour task. I was determined to see the process through. I started to add light, queen-size air mattresses, laptops, heaters, and everything that makes a room comfortable. Which also includes some balloons and candles for a romantic look. I decided to fulfill a dream and spend the night outside in this home dome. I took pictures of it before sleeping in it. That’s when My idea was something everyone wanted to experience and was asking how much to book.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There was nothing smooth about this idea for the first few weeks. Trying to move the igloo to different locations. Meant we had to take down 300 pieces every time. On the other hand, it may be too big for someone’s personal space. working at night in the cold. Losing pieces and breaking pieces. This was very much a struggle.

SuperStarr Igloos does not specialize in Igloos, we also do home decorations for specials occasion, event planning, wedding planning as well and private romantic dinner set up’s. We work to make every memory special and memorable.
