Hi Rashad, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2018, I establish myself as a children’s book author. I self-published my first children’s book my senior year in College. After graduating from college, I continued writing children’s books. People began gravitating to my work which allowed me to host numerous story times at many Metro Atlanta schools
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being a self-published author hasn’t been a smooth road. When you have a vision and you’re following your passion smooth roads aren’t worth taking. Sometimes it’s good to bump your head because experience is the best way to learn.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a children’s book author who writes relatable children’s books for urban youth. I specialize in Youth Development and I am an Elementary School S.T.EA.M. Instructor. My books are different from typical children’s books because they incorporate social problems.
