Today we’d like to introduce you to Liv.
Hi Liv, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Liv’s Luxury Decor seems like it took off overnight. I tried several business interests that did not quite fulfill what it is I wanted to do. I also had some issues with working for others and sometimes with others. I decided to get into this field because I always had the creativity skills, and this is my happy place. I am 23 years old. Born and raised in Detroit Michigan. Graduated in 2017 at Detroit Leadership Academy Highschool. I continued my education at Schoolcraft College for Culinary Arts and decided I wanted to get into interior decorating.
In 2019, I decorated my entire apartment for a friend’s bachelorette party in Rose Gold and Pink. Never focused on my career because I was young and wanted to party of course. In March of 2021, I started decorating rooms for myself and friends. My friend allowed me to decorate a Wedding Proposal at her place in downtown Detroit and that is when my work gained attention. Through long nights, challenging work, dedication, and most of all creativity skills, I am where I am today.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like any other business, there are bumps along the way. But I never was the type to give up no matter the circumstances. My journey has been amazing so far. My team decorated for an amazing famous rapper Young Thugs artist Mariah the Scientist. We have been posted on The Shade Room and other huge social media platforms. One of my clients had booked me to travel to Panama City Beach Florida and I have never traveled to Florida before. Such an amazing time. The city is beautiful, I had a wonderful time and most importantly, my client was satisfied with their room decor. This field has been an incredibly fun experience. I have got to meet so many outgoing and wonderful people along the way. I absolutely love what I do.

I decorate spaces for special occasions such as Birthdays, Anniversaries, Wedding Proposals, Sweetest Day, Date Nights, Valentine’s Day and more. I specialize in Event Planning. I’m highly known for my Jacuzzi Setups. With my events, I use highly real roses and candles. I utilize my creativity skills with unique styles to set up each Jacuzzi. I am immensely proud to see that I have encouraged and influenced others to create the perfect Jacuzzi Setup like mines. How do you think about happiness?
Sometimes I just want to stop and tell people how much I love what I do. Just to see how many babies I may have created and relationships I may have helped improve. Seeing couples that are now Married has really fulfilled my heart. My favorite part of it all is knowing that I have satisfied my clients. Seeing their reactions to each setup, the online reviews and the views that are in the MILLIONS. I’ve never thought that I would make it this far, but most of all, I am so lifted that I am able to make others happy. And that’s what makes me happy.
