Today we’d like to introduce you to Emily Lewis.
Emily, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up, I was a super intuitive and empathic child, and I absolutely loved spiritual topics as a pre-teen. I was fascinated with everything from astrology, to numerology, to the chakras and so much more. However, my own internal beliefs completely clashed with my Catholic upbringing and my family’s beliefs! I just wanted to be a normal kid, and I began to stray away from my spiritual interests in an effort to fit in during middle school and high school. In college, I studied marketing and business and got a corporate job right out of school for a retail company. At the time, I was SO unfulfilled and I couldn’t explain why! I just had this innate sense of knowing from a young age that I was being called to something greater than working a traditional 9-5 job, but I couldn’t explain where this was coming from. In early 2020, it started to become clear what I was here to do.
In Jan of 2020, pre-pandemic, I got the intuitive hit to start a business. At the time, my main passions where health and fitness so that’s where I got started as an entrepreneur! When the pandemic hit, I began working from home with my corporate job and had all of the time in the world to begin really creating the business that felt like my ticket to freedom from my job. At the same time, my spiritual gifts began re-opening… I call this period of my life a “re-awakening!” This led me to learning about my psychic abilities, mediumship, and offering mediumship readings. This was completely life-changing for me so I crafted my own group mentorship to teach others how to use their own intuitive gifts to help others. This program was a success and I pivoted my business to focus on spiritual topics, and I created the brand Emily the Mystic. My brand and business took off, and I quit my corporate job in the early spring of 2021! Now, I focus my business on helping my clients find their intuitive gifts and discover who they are at a soul level. I truly believe our intuitive gifts are our superpowers- they are innately connect to our higher self and our higher calling on this earth. They allow us to tap into the spirit world and ask for “support” and guidance when it comes to figuring out this higher calling. Because of that, I am SO passionate about helping my clients unlock their own intuitive gifts, connect with their own spirit guides, and find their mission and purpose in this lifetime.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has been full of twists and turns! To the average person, my story and how I got here may not make a lot of sense. But to me, as I look back with hindsight, I can see that the breadcrumbs have all been there and have been leading me down this path every step of the way. I truly have been “re-discovering” the person that I was born to be! The signs of my innate purpose as an intuitive and a healer where all there in childhood. However, this path is completely unconventional and is not for the faint of heart. A big piece of my journey has been to let go of all of the external conditioning and programming from a society that has taught me about what my life “should” look like. I have had to do a lot of deep inner self-healing in order to begin to understand who I truly am, to love who I am, and to be at peace with the fact that my life path may not meet the approval of others. I have also had to really embrace my intuitive gifts, be confident in who I am and in my abilities, and trust in the universe to support me every step of the way! Becoming a spiritual leader has really challenged me to be seen by the world for who I truly am, and to be my authentic self, every single day!

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Truly embracing who I am and who I am as an authentic soul has been absolutely crucial to my success. By getting to know ME, embracing all aspects of me (both light and dark!), doing the deep healing work, and truly loving myself, all have helped me to become a thriving 6 figure business owner. By being truly authentically 100% me, it also gives my clients and my community permission to be their own true selves. And that is how I am leading a movement that will also inspire others to create their own success!
