Check Out Shanna Shine and Jenny’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shanna Shine and Jenny.

Hi Shanna and Jenny, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
“Girl, Guess What?”

We are “Girl, Guess What?” The New Hottest and Boldest show in Atlanta. We are just two gals who see a need in our community for self-care, self-love, empowerment, and community. It’s what we pride ourselves in and one of the many reasons we have started “Girl, Guess What?”

This is that show where it’s safe to share how you feel and you will be supported and not judged. You don’t have to do life alone. We will discuss those topics that have been hidden or those they don’t want to be discussed. Our topics are based on our daily lives and the triumphs we have conquered or are currently dealing with. We don’t hold back and we dive deep into conversation.

We are passionate, determined and cannot wait to grow with you guys! Girl guess what is simply a platform built upon holding ourselves and each other accountable as we grow, shift, and take on whatever life throws at us! We believe that there is strength in the community.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it has not been smooth, we have had to face different opinions, not having a studio to finish Season 2, lack of motivation, personal life challenges, and being used by others. We have learned and grown from those challenges and are now in a place of realigning and adjusting because at the end of the day. We have received more positive feedback throughout the U.S. We are on our own path and this is only the beginning!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Shanna Shine: Mental Health and Personal Development
Author | Transformational Speaker | Coach | Talk Show Host | Plus so much more!

Ja’Shanna Graves is from a small town known as Warrenton, GA. She dealt with many struggles as a kid and as a young adult. My life was full of uncertainty and agony. I moved to Atlanta 7 years ago to follow my dreams. During this time, I fell in love and eventually lost everything I knew including myself and ended up homeless while having to deal with personal challenges for years. I was able to rebuild my life & push forward. Thanks to God and my support system by transforming my way of thinking and self-healing (mental health).

Now I’m here to help others do the same. That’s when Shanna Shine was Born! I am the Founder & Owner of Shanna Shine LLC. I am now here to help others remove the limits off their life. I offer Coaching (1-on-1 and Group {family} sessions). Plus, I have created tools and resources to help you transform with a workbook, books, and journals called “The Shine Collection”. I have always had a passion for people. Now I am able to give back by sharing my testimony. I’m here to tell you that you’re valuable, appreciated, and supported. You have a voice and gifts that the world needs to know.

I am proud that I decided to choose myself and use my creativity. I am happy to hear positive feedback from others about the difference that has been made. I am proud of my now and future of changing my life and others around me. What set me apart is because all of the hurt and pain I went through. I am able to change lives and embrace being different and most importantly I’m here to be that support that is needed for another person.

My lovely Co-host and I started GGW to bring awareness to many issues and problems within the black community as well as in general. We shed light into people’s lives in hopes to create a long-lasting relationship of self-awareness and healing.

How do you think about luck?
The obstacles we have faced are the reason why we can do GGW. We give real authentic personal advice and share real-life experiences and provide others with a safe space to share and use their voices.
