Today we’d like to introduce you to Susan & Hector Diaz

Hi Susan & Hector, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Boxwood Event Rentals started as an idea as we planned our own DIY wedding, With the help of a few friends & family members we brought every detail of our Atlanta Rooftop City Hall Ceremony and backyard reception to life.

It was during our honeymoon in Greece that we began to craft the vision, a design-forward event rental company that not only carried the essentials but also on-trend modern decor rentals. Three years later we have a 2,600 square-foot warehouse full of a versatile inventory from chairs and tables to tabletop decor and an array of backdrops and offer floral design services as well.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Our first and biggest challenge was launching on Sept 2019 having to face the Covid pandemic in our first year in business. Like in all industries, everything shifted. Since we were fairly new, we took it one event at a time. We served our clients with as many precautions as we could and small gatherings, and at-home weddings became the initial core of our business. Despite all the hurdles, we ended 2020 with a grateful heart!

Currently, we face inflation but we are doing all we can to offer our clients the best rates while staying relevant with our marketing and inventory updates.

We’ve been impressed with Boxwood Event Rentals, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We pride ourselves in offering premium quality vintage and modern rentals, floral design & event styling.

Think of us as a trip to your favorite décor store. You might have come here for the chairs but you’ll soon realize you can get much more to create a one-of-a-kind celebration.

We are very proud of the recognition we have acquired in this industry and the relationships we have built with planners, venues, coordinators, and our clients that make it all worthwhile.

We are also very proud of our team. It takes a village to bring so many events to life. Our aim is to make every client’s experience a breeze so they can focus on all other moving parts of their celebration.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Entrepreneurship isn’t easy but it is so worth it! And to any person out there dreaming of starting something, we’d say YES, DO IT!! Anything worth fighting for comes with struggles, but they help to build character so KEEP GOING!
