Today we’d like to introduce you to Ravon Hernandez.
Hi Ravon, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a business owner & CEO of Amiracleeyescosmetics, an upstate makeup artist, model forward vogue lingerie, a motivational speaker for young women, future actor for starz series, and brand ambassador for good molecules skin care, lastly but not least I am an all-around artist. The journey of being a business owner started 3 1/2 years ago (2019) where it sold alone off false lashes to now selling cosmetics products to accessories. Myself alone as an entrepreneur began in the year 2014 collaborating with small model agencies in the upstate area which led me to a path of amazing success 🥂
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
One of the biggest challenges of many that I faced on my journey was and still is would be time management!! As an entrepreneur, the thought of “if you only had more time, you could accomplish so much more!” being a woman of color as a business owner the challenge was building a support network; with the majority of the high-level business world still being dominated by men, it can be a little difficult to follow your own path and facilitate the introductions and connections into some of the more elite business networks. As most of business today still rings true with the philosophy that “it’s not what you know; it’s who you know, ‘this can be a huge factor in your ultimate success.”
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What I am most proud of is being able to be in the position to be surrounded and being able to communicate with other artists/business owners like myself. & have the chance to reflect on the times of self-doubt to where / who I am today on a positive outlook .
The one thing that sets me apart from others in the industry/beginners would that I am/have parsimony, tractability, conceptual insightfulness, generalizability, falsifiability, empirical consistency, and predictive precision. Most of all I am big in the term of appreciating others.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice for those who are just starting will would be KNOWING when to NOT give up. Being or becoming an entrepreneur is not an easy path for a lot of us, there are times when things start to slow down on sales, clients, products, bookings, etc. You don’t throw all the hard work out to a slight inconvenience, patience and god is the key to success, many opportunities and doors will be open but you have to know God and have the knowledge of if the door you are choosing going to help you keep going or make it easier to give up. As my journey so far every door I have walked in has been fulfilled with blessings. Keep going someone is always watching you
Know your worth, trust your instincts, and stay authentic to your vision.
I wish I would of known that being an entrepreneur is not always Glam and Diamonds in order to succeed to the max is unlimited work, less sleep, and DEDICATION!!!
