Today we’d like to introduce you to Ka’zion N. Wilson.
Hi Ka’zion , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself. My name is Ka’zion Wilson and I was born in Wilkes-barre, PA. I am 12 years old and will be 13 in December. I am in the 7th grade. I moved to GA when I was 2 going on 3. Never did I ever think I would be an actor. I started acting in March of this year when I had the opportunity to be on Black Mafia Family. My mom became my manager and got me booked on numerous projects, and since march, I have been on twelve different tv/film productions. I also have done a breast cancer commercial, and I have done some modeling too. I recently modeled for cool brand call Relentless SwaGg. I’m an artist too. I love to draw. I have been doing art for several years and each day I get better. I recently made my first artwork sale. Art and now acting are my passion.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Acting isn’t always easy. I have to learn to adapt to different roles. I can go from a scene that’s super happy then the next may be sad. Learning to switch back and forth can be hard. I never thought I would really be an actor even though people said I have “the look”. It’s also really long hours. I went from going to traditional school to now being online because of acting. I miss regular school but with online school, I can do so much more. I can travel out of state for jobs, if I were in traditional school I wouldn’t be able to. Acting can take you anywhere in the world so I have to be able to get up and go when they need me. My mom also sacrificed so much for me to be an actor. She’s my biggest supporter.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Currently I’m focusing on bettering myself as an actor, artist and model. I want to put more time into my art too. I like to do different kinds of art. I don’t limit myself to one thing. Being an actor has opened a lot of doors. I have a lot of things that I can’t wait for the world to see. I’ve met some amazing people in such a short time. I’ve worked with so many famous people including Snoop Dogg, Mike Epps, Tika Sumpter, George Lopez, McKenna Grace, Bobbie Eakes, Mark Wahlberg and that’s only naming a few. Soon enough everyone will know who I am. I’m proud of how far I’ve gotten in these past 8 months. Most people don’t have the opportunity I have. I’ve been blessed and I’m very grateful.
