Hi Teresa, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Yes, having 20+ plus years of professional medical training started me along the journey of creating LMP. My years of experience and knowledge in the integumentary system and its function of the largest organ of the body help to create the all-natural moisturizing skin-loving products Light My Passion has to offer. Having such an abundance of professional medical knowledge separates my business from the competitors. I learned very quickly in this field there is a difference between “all-natural products” and “handmade all-natural products”. Light My Passion offers “Handmade All Natural Products” by creating specific formulas to solve key issues like Eczema or Hyperpigmentation to name a few. Most competitors sell “private label” products which are already produced, meaning they have no control over the formula and what’s being added. With knowing this, I made it a priority to research, study, and use the previous medical experience to create authentic handmade all-natural products. Making that decision has gained me tons of success but most importantly, it has helped my customers feel good and look good.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
As you may know, there is never a smooth road when you’re on a path to consistently make yourself uncomfortable to propel growth and execution. The most important lesson my business/career has taught me is be your authentic self. Most client-facing businesses fail due to the lack of creativity and realness. I’ve learned over my years of experience customers are buying into the person behind the brand first and then the product or service they offer second.

I love my city of Atlanta, here you will find several opportunities to network and grow professionally as well as personally. Being in Atlanta forces me to work harder in business because there are so many successful entrepreneurs and business owners grinding day and night. It does nothing but motivates me to keep executing.
