Today we’d like to introduce you to Jarrett Fields.
Hi Jarrett, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started this brand at the darkest point of my life. I always loved fashion. Always wanted to design clothing never thought I could do it. During that time, I realized the thing that made me truly happy was helping people. I combined the 2 ideas Humaneness Haus was born. The brand was a reason for me to come back reinvent myself. Hoping to create a culture inside the brand to contribute and help their fellow human. Especially the new collection “Mental Warfare” I am so excited for it truly means so much to me. Each garment is an emotion. Each garment a story. Each can be interpreted differently for each person to have their own story in sense. Mental health is real. The stigma of mental health, especially in males is sooo real. I truly hope this collection sheds light on something we all know about but don’t wanna talk about. It’s ok not to be ok, “the rain ain’t permanent.”
Fight for them good days they are coming.
Just to instill this aspect that you’re not alone. The same emotion your feeling in that darkness we all have felt. It’s just a matter of finding the beauty in the darkness. Truly can pivot your life forever. Dream big.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been many hurdles to conquer in the journey thus far. My background is not in fashion, so getting recognized in the industry for the work you do is challenging. Developing a following requires the most time out of my day. Connecting with stylists and fashion pioneers requires extreme perseverance and social media savvy. Raising capital to launch a collection is always one of the highest hurdles.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a designer. We are known for our designs / and our following. We specialize in high-quality garments and fine graphic detail. Also, our subject choices for the collection are unique i.e., mental warfare.
I am most proud of what the brand has become and who is proudly wearing the gear. HH become much more than just a luxury streetwear brand. It has inspired true change in a community and niche in a fashion that is so inspiring. The fact the brand brings like-minded people together to reach a common goal. Making this world a better place. Help your fellow human.
How do you define success?
Whatta question? In my mind, I see success in many different types of ways. Success in the aspect of HH becoming a known name. The fact that we started almost two years ago and we world wide. Success to me would be for Humaneness Haus to be the next big brand in this sector of fashion. To be able to take care of my team and my family. To be able to give back at the same time make my parent’s dreams a reality. While I create clothing to create a dialogue.
