Today, we’d like to introduce you to Emanuel Mathis. Emanuel was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Keedar Whittle.
Emanuel, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
My Emanuel Mathis. I am an Atlanta Native. This is my 16 year in education.
We’ve heard great things about your organization. For our readers who might not be as familiar, can you please tell them about the organization?
We are a k -8, Atlanta Public School in partnership with KIPP Metro Atlanta. We currently service close to 900 students that are zoned to attend this school. We take great pride in being able to work with the Grove Park community to offer high quality educational programming that we hope put our scholars in position to have a choice filled life.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Educators Now and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Educators Now.
It has been a pleasure working with Keedar and Educators Now. We often need subs to fill in for teachers that are out on PTO. Educators Now makes the process very easy. It is a partnership. They provide us with QUALITY subs, we are able to communicate our needs and we have the flexibility to rate and choose the best options for our building.
