Today we’d like to introduce you to Tion Thomas.
Hi Tion, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am an upcoming photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Photography to me is like a creative outlet for my broad imagination, when I first got into photography I was being sponsored by this wonderful woman named Ms.Erin who helped me and a few of my friends explore the immaculate world of photography. She gave us the opportunity to experience new things and network with people who could point us in whatever direction we wanted our lives to go which was very much appreciated. Sadly she passed on not too long after we started really getting into photography. May she rest in paradise. After that, it took me a while to figure out what I was going to do to go forward but then I realized that with a well-thought-out plan maybe I could start my own business using the skills she taught us. So here we are now trying to remain consistent without pressuring myself.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not really I’ve had my ups and downs but I’m still pushing through and there is still much to learn about this craft of mine.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I do multiple branches of photography but my main focus is nature and portraits. I am known for being kind and respectful to others, intuitive, cool to work with. I am most proud of me still being able to keep myself on track regardless of what I’ve been through. What sets me apart from others is my vision.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I like the connectivity of Atlanta and the cityscape. I dislike the lack of attractions.
