Hidden Gems: Meet Deondre Mosley of DreVisionEntertainment

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deondre Mosley.

Deondre, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a 21 years old Producer, DJ, and Audio engineer, I got my own Recording Label named “DreVisionEntertainment” so to start into my story. I was born into music. Since birth, I started developing a sound at the age of nine, I made my first ever beat at the age of 13 on This producing software called “GarageBand” in 2014.

Me and my sister Had just got GarageBand on our mom’s computer. For Christmas, I had got my first akai professional mpk mini piano.

So from there me and my sister would make beats all day till it’s no tomorrow, She was teaching me how to select loops from the software and turn it into a Song…. she will sing, I will produce and the little bit you know, I came out as Richie Da Kidd Beatz.

I have gotten the name from inspiration from other artists because I just like how it fitted me as an upcoming Beatmaker so it kinda really made me who I am today just by that name… it holds a lot of weight, so I went to producing more & more and soon as you know it, I came up on 1k beats by the age of 14 in 2015.

2015 comes Around I’m making somewhat noise in my old neighborhood called “Villa Rica” it’s located in Douglasville, GA, So I’m making beats and selling them on SoundCloud, I manage to pull 29k listeners for “all-time listeners” and my first reaction was that I made it!! But the downfall was that I wasn’t making any money from my music…..

2016 comes around now I’m 15 and wasn’t making any money from my beats so I started trying to sell them low as 30 dollars just to see if I can make some type of income from my business. Sadly I didn’t make nothing and nobody wouldn’t to work with me because “I wasn’t The hottest producer out” I took time to myself for a couple of months, I was still making beats off GarageBand but then 2017 Comes around I discovered I can make beats Off Of FL Studio Demo and that’s when I officially changed my name to “DreOnTheBeatz” but back on Fl Studio topic.

My parents bought my first FL Studio Producer edition and I thought it was free but I had to buy the full software to get all of the plugins that I needed to make beats off of, so I fell into a somewhat depression because I was just getting started and I was hearing other producer stories on how they made money and got to be millionaires before the age of 18-21, I wasn’t making no money nobody wanted to buy my beats…

So now 2018 comes around I’m 17 and I am on fire with the beats. I am making about 12 to 17 beats per day. Literally making beats all day long while kids playing outside and graduating from school and enjoying summer Break, I’m in my studio making so many beats and getting better and better so now when 2019 hits. I’m on top of my game And I am pulling artists from the indie world (which is underground Artists). I will promote my beats on Instagram and I will get crazy dms saying “let’s work” “I wanna buy some beats” so I started making a for myself

2020 comes around and I get my first placement with Curtis Snow called “Drought” I was working with a music Manager, I would send him about 20 beats every time he asks me to send him some tracks, so one night I’m in my room watching a movie, I get a call from the manager and he says “lil bro We got us one check your message “ he sends the mp3 file and that day I became more stronger into sending beats and making my appearance outside of my house, and I’m getting 10 places from different artists.

2021 comes around I’m making club appearances around the local area of Atlanta, I will go up there and see showcase of artists who’s performing on stage and I will pull them to the side. After the show and ask them “what’s your Instagram bro let’s tap in” let’s network and I will get so much love just by showing how genuine I am to work with artists who just got put on, so I will say 2021 was more like my Network Season lol.

2022 comes around and I am officially reaching out to major Producer and artists for a collab, most of them said yes most of them couldn’t do it because of busy schedules But the love I been getting from that side of music has been incredible, I’m in the works of putting an Album together so please stay toon of my new Project… Date will be announced on Instagram (February 11th)

2023 we are here and I am making a big impact on the music scene!

Dre on the beatz is up next!!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I will say yes and no to that question because it’s been a heavy road for me personally because like I said I wasn’t making no money or getting help to learn about the music business from an early age.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about DreVisionEntertainment?
I am a Producer and founded “DreVisionEntertainment” which is a Recording Sound Label, I provide Professional sound, I just go out and find some artists and find multiple Ways to get people off the streets and make money the legal way, so they can take care of themselves and their families,

What set me apart from others is that I don’t take from people. I’m very genuine when it comes to changing lives, I don’t spend nobody earnings on the things I want in life, most label’s Take from you once you do something that they don’t like and you basically get blackballed, here at my label I don’t do that, we are a family outside of business but when it comes to working, we know how to get work and push out records.

What I want the readers to know is that you can do whatever you wanna do in life if you put out good energy and stay out of the way and be kind to people and also pray a lot. You will get the best gift from god that you will never expect, Keep him first And think about yourself before you think of others because taking care of yourself will take care of everybody else. Remember that.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see my industry going to the highest level, changes will be for the people that wants change, The big shift will be better life, Peace, Love, and Entertainment for people to have fun and no stress.
