Rising Stars: Meet Anthony Smith

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Smith.

Hi Anthony, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When covid happened in 2020, it kept many of us isolated. Well, I was tired of watching Tyler Perry movies at home. In May 2020, out of boredom I was getting takeout food and decided to just record a video of my outing. At first, I thought I was making the videos for fun not thinking much big. Next thing you know people starting embracing the fact I was giving restaurants exposure. Fast forward today, it has grown tremendously. I’ve been on Food Tours in other cities such as D.C, Phoenix, Miami, etc…I’ve found my calling thanks to Covid!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
In the beginning, you’re spending a lot of money to keep creating content on a consistent level. That’s about it. Also, during the early days, it were no full dine-in experiences.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Outside of Food Content Creation, I’m a contractor for a delivery service company around the Metro area. I create my own schedule. What I love most is if I’m in a certain area delivery that particular day, I’ll coordinate around to review a restaurant in that area lol.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Making my mind to Booking a flight to do a Food Tour w/o setting up anything with restaurants in that city
