Today, we’d like to introduce you to Miko Adams. Miko was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Jerry Brokemond.
Miko, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
Hi, I’m originally from Queens Ny. I’ve been in GA for about 12 years now. I moved here originally to peruse my songwriting career. Not knowing many people at first. I made many connections and decided Atlanta was where I wanted to stay for a while and grow. In my time in Atlanta I have continuously worked on music as well as other talents that have opened up some doors for me. I never really saw my self as an entrepreneur but I have become exactly that. Along with song writing, I am a licensed Brow Artist in Fulton County specializing in Microshading and Microblading brows, I am a proctective hairstylist with a specialty in Butterfly locs and most recently partnered with Wild Eats to add my plant based dish to their menu with more to come. I am a creator so all the above give me that boost in feeding my creative needs.
Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
Along with song writing, I am a licensed Brow Artist in Fulton County specializing in Microshading and Microblading brows, I am a proctective hairstylist with a specialty in Butterfly locs and most recently partnered with Wild Eats to add my plant based dish to their menu with more to come. I am a creator so all the above give me that boost in feeding my creative needs. I am a very passionate person so I put my all into everything I do, no matter what hat I’m wearing, songwriter, Brow artist, Hairstylist to Chef. I am a bit of a perfectionist and pretty much just want to make my clients and customers feel good. Life is already hard so if I can make someone’s day or make them feel good by a service I’ve provided than that makes me feel great.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Jerry Brokemond and Wild Eats and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Wild Eats.
I met Jerry as one of the producers I have been working with since before I moved to Atlanta. We have worked on many records together over the years he has become a mentor and friend. He has been a huge help in so many areas, always looking to help the people around him to succeed. If he can help you he will and if he has knowledge on a topic he’s always happy to share as well as include or offer opportunities. When I found out he was opening Wild Eats I let him know I had a few dishes that I made that was plant based and were good for the people who wanted to transition from eating meat to vegan. He was open to the dish So we came together to add the Wild Beyond Sphaghetti and Wild Chili. We have been getting great reviews although the Wild Chili is seasonal but the Wild Beyond Sphaghetti is here year round. We plan to add more plant based options in the near future, possible a dessert. I’m excited to see the plant based menu grow and am grateful for Jerry giving me the Opportunity!
