Today we’d like to introduce you to Esteban Selva-Castillo.
Hi Esteban, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Chasing Stars Media was created by me and my lovely girlfriend Dylan in the beginning of 2023. Growing up, we have always been involved in the creative world in some way. We met in 2022 and knew that we had found a forever thing together. We decided to open this business with the idea that we can do something we love to do and be able to put our magic spin on it!
Esteban always took photos and videos of things he found interesting. He also paints and gravitates toward graffiti-style artwork. He just loves to let his inner child play and express himself through a variety of creative outlets.
Dylan loves to see the world with a new perspective and has always enjoyed taking photos of the things she finds beautiful. She has always had a creative mind and loves to explore new and exquisite places.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We are pursuing this dream while still maintaining our full-time jobs, and the journey has been fairly smooth. There have been some ups and downs along the way, and we definitely expect more challenges as we continue.
We are firm believers of “fail often”. We feel that in order to grow, you need to put yourself out there, whether you feel you are ready for it or not. It’s through your failures that you learn what areas need improving in order to do it better next time, and that process never ends.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are content creators utilizing photography, video and drone media to enhance the finer things in life. Right now we have been focusing on travel, nature/wildlife and events. We are open and would love to explore real estate media and more. We love to explore all options while we carve out our path.

What matters the most to us is happiness. We will continue doing what makes us happy and we have no doubt that we will connect with those that resonate with our work and together we will grow.
