Meet Tara Pesta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tara Pesta.

Hi Tara, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I have always been inspired by beautiful homes, interiors, design and architecture. When I moved to Atlanta 7 years ago, from California, I quickly fell in love with how eclectic all the different neighborhoods are. I decided to take my sales skill set and knowledge from the fashion world and apply that focus and energy into real estate.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
NO! I started a new career at 41 years old just after having a baby a couple of years prior. But what this has taught me and hopefully will teach my son is that you can do anything you put your mind to. With hard work, focus, and dedication, it doesn’t matter how old you are or what you have done previously – you can do it!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a REALTOR® who focuses on Intown Atlanta and the Decatur areas. My down-to-earth approach helps me to build a strong relationships with my clients quickly. I get energized learning my client’s needs and ideal neighborhood so they too can experience that bliss feeling of walking into the house that is “The one.”

Helping people achieve their dreams through buying or selling in our local real estate market is a true passion of mine. I pride myself on being readily available for my clients through the entire home-buying process from the beginning to beyond the closing day. I promise to be my client’s number one advocate, educator, expert negotiator, resource, and long-time friend.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
I think one of the most important things is to have systems in place and extreme dedication. There are also a lot of ups and downs throughout the year so be prepared for very busy times and slower times and learn to enjoy when it is slow!
