Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Pyatt.
Hi Brittney, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
When I think about where I came from and where I am now, I can only think of all praises being directed to God! A small town, country girl from the middle of nowhere, Pee Dee, South Carolina. One thing that I knew for certain since middle school was that I was highly determined to leave in hopes of bringing wealth back to my community. Everything associated with art has always been embedded within my deepest imagination from poetry to songwriting, audio production, videography and photography. I wouldn’t always voice my opinions swiftly, but I’d be sure to capture something that reminded me of the moments of what was so that I could reflect at a later time. I left South Carolina in 2011 at age 17 to further my education in Arts at the Art Institute of Atlanta. I later graduated with an associate degree in business administration, currently finishing my bachelor’s degree in Technical Management, I have plans to receive a master’s in another year or so. Through hard work and perseverance I never gave up my dreams even when I felt like I was stuck. I started my own multimedia company, Brantley Multimedia Productions back in 2012 while attending the AIA. Fun Fact: My dad, an old-school, southern fella, #RIP could never pronounce my name correctly, he always called me “Brantley”. His favorite line was, “I might can’t pronounce it but at least I know how to spell it correctly.”
Even though we weren’t always on the best of terms, it’s safe to say, he helped me to come up with the name of my business. Whether he was a little too happy with his favorite drink or not when I would have my speakers blasting working on beats back in the day, he always would cheer me on and that’s something I will never forget! My business has been thriving wonderfully these past 2 years and I can only imagine the clientele I will get to conduct business with as I expand in my many different avenues. I am currently writing an inspirational book regarding my life, and adversities entitled, “Be the Change”. I co-host an upcoming podcast, “Behind Breaking and Overcoming” alongside my wife, Briana. I also specialize in helping other small business owners unlock their full potential by equipping them with knowledge and resources to push their business(es) forward. I enjoy helping others achieve their wildest dreams utilizing my skillset and education. As I mentioned before, I knew since middle school that I did not want to live my life working for someone else’s company but instead be my own boss. With each light of day and each foot forward, I work towards those goals and aspirations as I view myself as a serial entrepreneur I am always looking for multiple streams of income as I am looking to build generational wealth for my family and lineage to come.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road of entrepreneurship has not been a smooth road as the ones you think would support you ultimately don’t. If every one of my social media friends or followers reshared my work to get me to the right person, I’d probably be one of the top-performing entrepreneurs in Atlanta or my hometown as I do travel. Early on finances used to be an issue but I found out how to utilize business credit and other resources that help with business expenses as it takes money to make money. A few bumps here and there but the struggles never delayed me continuing to journey on.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Again, all praises to the most high, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for adding the creativity capabilities to my being. My parents, Gregory & Mayzell Pyatt, in their earthly absence as they are now my daily push and motivation to continuing this race. There has been no support like no other from my equally amazing and beautiful wife, Briana. My sisters, Larina & Darlene always encouraged me, day in and day out since grade school. My ride or die, Jasmine R, always supporting me, she believed in me when most days I would lose hope but no matter what her business suggestions and tactics always encouraged me and for that she will always be appreciated. Many other family members, friends and associates you are appreciated as well but without this small group BMP could’ve easily been ditched a long time ago, but they gave me hope to continue on.
