Meet Jermaine Rucker of MotionCrewWrldwide

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jermaine Rucker.

Hi Jermaine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Jermaine, “Maine,” and I grew up on the west side of Detroit, Michigan. I’ve been an athlete my whole life. Played basketball & football my whole life. I recently just graduated high school from Detroit Henry Ford High School. I’ve always liked being on my own and doing things on my own. My brothers and I knew early that we were going to be entrepreneurs. My older brother Donovan came up with a plan earlier in life when I was in 3rd grade to start a clothing brand, but we never fell through with it. Fast forward to now, I graduated school knowing I don’t like working jobs. With the rapid growth of TikTok and social media during the pandemic and up, I came across an influencer by the name of “Isaiahoutsider.” Isaiah is a 7 figure clothing brand owner who I came across when brainstorming what route I was going to take while pursuing the entrepreneurship route. I really fell victim to Zay’s aesthetic, style, outfits, and clothing designs. I also own a moving company across metro Detroit by the name of 60BuckZTruckZ which offers point a to point b moving, junk removal, in-house furniture moving, & an extra vehicle for a customer to load in themselves if needed. MY clothing brand is growing pretty fast and I’m more than excited to share more with you guys as some local artists have purchased from me and gaining notoriety.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a smooth road for the most part. Been through a few hardships like being hommeless at one point in 2019 and having a recent house fire. Since then, the bounce back has been clean and rapid.

As you know, we’re big fans of MotionCrewWrldwide. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My brands are all about me and made from thought and the soul. I have two brothers who I own another brand with by the name of “60BuckZTruckZ.” 60 is a point a to point b, junk removal, in-house furniture moving, and a loading vehicle company. We’re also recording artist who plans on dropping music soon. Kyle, Keedrick, & I are all entrepreneurs alongside a few of my other brother by the name of Rell, Terrance, Day-Day, & Kell. We all work together and have this big plan to come up together and build next to each other within our businesses, working and promoting each other. Day-Day is also an artist by the name of “30perc10s” where his music can be heard on all platforms, Instagram as well.

I, Maine specialize in Fashion, basketball, & music. I’m known for all. People always have told me I have a special type of image/vibe that gives off as influencer, famous, or a potential artist just by the way that I carry myself. What sets me apart from others is my image, goals, vision, drive, & knowledge. I have a very infectious personality that everyone loves and I often leave a mark on any and everyone that I meet. I’m very expressive and outgoing. By my peers, I’m referred to as “Wavy” or “Fashion” due to my uniqueness and how deep off into clothes I am. Brand-wise, I’m overall proud of how far we’ve came and expanded. Motion Crew, my clothing, is getting out to colleges across the country and has also been picked up by a Detroit artist, “ProjectBoyHuncho.” As far as 60, we’ve been all across Michigan executing moves as well as to New Jersey and completed additional moves in other states. We started out with one truck and now on our second truck to get more, double the work done. Currently, MotionCrewWrldwide clothing is sold out but will be restocking on our “Motion Crew 4 Ransom Note” hoodies in the upcoming weeks. Alongside a women’s drop, a restock from my first “Motion Wave Logo” tee drop, and lastly but not least a collab with my bro Ed who has a clothing brand, “MTF Money Tree Family.”

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
All My big brother’s I just mentioned previously plus my brothers Donatellem313, whose a music producer, and LoTickets whose a rapper. All of my brothers help me keep my head on straight and sane when it comes to life and motivation. MY biggest Mentors. Wherever you see me, you’ll see them! Check them out!

Now on the influence side that I’ve looked up to were IsaiahOutsider, Kayla Parilla, Hollywood Shack, Hood Picasso Phil, and Papii Q who are all brand owners that gave me the push and courage to pop out and start my own brand and journey in becoming famous and doing something big in multiple avenues.

Music, you have LoTickets, Babyface Ray, Peezy, G.T., Lil Durk, Lil Baby, and surprisingly who is more recent is Luh Tyler. I’ve been around music my whole life. Moms always had the best r&b jams going since I was 3+ with Keyshia Cole etc. and my pops, man I was listening to rick ross in 2nd grade which is crazy when I think back on where my love for music came from. Rick Ross “diced pineapples” and my older brother Donatellem had me listening to Lil Wayne’s Carter 3 in 2nd grade as well. Don has been making beats since 7th grade and Lo have been rapping since about 2016 so I’ve always been around and loved music. You guys should see my Apple Music playlists. To backtrack though, Luh Tyler really inspired me to now have the courage to release my music. Although I look up to Lo & Ray heavy, seeing Tyler be 16 and release his first song off bandlab @ 16 and blow as quick, fast, and big as he did gave me an instant boost of confidence. Although everyone tells me I’m a very good artist, i’ve just always had the athlete image throughout my family and peers and have been iffy on how they’d think or view me once I dropped music and started pursuing seriously.
