Today we’d like to introduce you to Briana Rowe aka BonnieTheCreator.
Hi Briana, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I feel like my story begins by growing up in the S.W.A.T.S of Atlanta as this curious kid, always wanting to try new things. From dancing, singing, acting, making music, creating art… just anything that I could make mines and unique I did. Coming from and out of Carver Arts High School… I started liking the background more than the spotlight. So, I started getting into more of the business aspect of my creative direction. I was always known for being the creative mind that can execute the vision full on – The Creator Way – and actually be able to handle the load as young woman. I was introduced to some big names just for being me, that started me into being a celebrity or known client’s personal assistant. Working backstage at big events like the Met Gala and BET Awards at a young age is just life-changing to make you want to do more and be bigger. Still growing and working on my own many businesses, I was traveling teaching the next generation coming up about financial literacy and how to build a business alongside Usher & his organization “Ushers New Look”. Being a part of that made my mind expand on my own businesses and skills. I’ve now been still focusing on my craft, but also working on finding more ways to help those around me and coming up to be more successful and to follow their dreams like I did.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a creator, artist, entrepreneur, assistant and leader like ME – of course, this road hasn’t been easy, nor did I ever think it was going to be. My biggest dream is to be a LEGEND, to actually make an impact to those around me and watching/supporting the journey. From long nights up, making sure I keep my grades up but also making sure business work is done for myself and clients. Being out late working big events, knowing I had school/work the next morning. Or just the major money investments I’ve done alone to either see if they fail or succeed is a lot. I won’t never say I’ve have doubts, like should I even be doing this, because I know this is what is meant for me. I was built for this life and lifestyle. It’s more just a frustration sometimes waiting and having to be patient for your time.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am majorly known for my business – The Creator Studios – custom shoes, clothes, branding or art pieces. Which can also be seen in some projects that I’ve been the creative director/content creator or photographer/videographer for. Maybe some of your favorite upcoming businesses or moguls have worked with me to build their brand/image through Rich Empire. If you look good enough you may can find me as a model in one of your favorite music videos. Soon you’ll be listening and seeing me on my podcast “Keeping It Blunt”. I can honestly say there isn’t a specific category that you could put me in. I personally feel like I’m in my own category and lane – “The Creator”. I love being the Jane of All Trades. There isn’t anything I don’t think I can’t do or willing to learn/try. Better yet, even if I feel like it’s not for me to do, I can get you to the next point and in the right rooms around the right people.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Credit for helping build this beautiful creative hustler… GOD 1st he’s helped me mentally to never give up no matter the circumstances. My parents, those 2 Pisces made a Gemini that came out being a “Disruptvator”. My god dad, a known producer and music artist, always pushing my creative mind to more higher levels and always making sure I made it to those right rooms I needed to be in to be successful. I have my Fab 5 Go Team, they know who they are that I can work with and go to for anything.
