Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanisha Bowman.
Hi Tanisha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story started as a teenage mom. I was a single parent and I needed to work to support my baby so I dropped out of high school.
By the age of 24, I was a single mother of 3 making $10 an hour. I decided to fulfill my purpose and change my mindset. I become a business owner and now I am a successful, retired entrepreneur. I’m in the top .1 % in my organization. I am also the founder of BrokeCan. BrokeCan came from pain and that pain gave me purpose. My purpose is to remind women that You Still CAN.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Dropping out of high school was one of my biggest struggles. I was ashamed to tell this to people for years but now God has allowed me to share my testimony with others and remind them that’s it never too late.

I am a Motivational Speaker, Certified Life Coach, Co-Author and Founder of BrokeCan. I love to coach and empower women to discover their purpose and walk into their calling.
What matters most to you? Why?
I love to see healthy relationships among women. We should complete and now complete. Family means everything to me. I’m blessed to have an amazing husband, amazing kids and amazing grandchildren.
