Life & Work with Meg Potter

Today we’d like to introduce you to Meg Potter.

Hi Meg, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started with Calatrello Creatives when Miranda Calatrello, Founder and CEO, started growing this business while she was working full-time in a resort marketing position. I was in between jobs at the time and I was looking to start working as a contractor. I have grown from a social media manager position to Calatrello Creatives Creative Director and COO.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Fortunately, the road to where I have come in this agency and the agency itself has been a pretty smooth road. But, just like any business, you certainly hit your bumps in the road. As a Creative Director for a small agency, it’s definitely taken time to define what that means to me and the company. While it may not be the traditional Creative Director position because I wear so many hats, it’s been enjoyable.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As Creative Director, the hats in the closet are vast. From giving clients and contractors direction to creating and designing unique designs to copywriting and pulling analytics, there’s nothing I can’t do. But, my specialty is certainly seeing the vision for a design or a video/photo shoot and implementing it.
