Exploring Life & Business with Yazmin Huerta of Mason Westbridge Corporation

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yazmin Huerta.

Hi Yazmin, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am originally from Tamaulipas, Mexico but was raised here in Georgia. I was raised by my mother who was a single mom. I dropped out of school in 8th grade. I worked in a warehouse for eleven years as a forklift operator. In 2016 I decided to go back to school and get my high school diploma and proud to say that I was able to complete school and get my diploma. In 2013, I joined Primerica as a life insurance agent got my life license in 2018 and was very successful and that was the beginning of what was to come for me. I then was offered the opportunity to be a part of Mason Westbridge as part owner.

To be asked to be a part of a business was life-changing to me. I never in a million years thought I would one day become a business partner. Being that all my life all I knew how to do was just work for other peoples dream and not my own. But that just shows you that when God is on your side and he is with you, he will bless you and any way form or shape. I always knew there was something better for me. I have always been a hard worker, no matter the circumstance. Hard work does pay off sooner or later. Always do the right thing even when no one is watching. You know why I say it was a blessing, when I was in middle school I was diagnosed with a learning disability and grew up thinking I would never make it outside a warehouse. And here I am today, being a vice President at Mason Consulting. Never give up dreams do come true.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth ride. Has it been worth it? Yes! Honestly, the biggest challenge is believing in yourself. Bringing clients to the table is one of the biggest challenges when you are starting a new business specially when it comes to their money.

We’ve been impressed with Mason Westbridge Corporation, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We specialize in having limitless options for our clients. My job in this mission is to help my clients learn about their multiple options when it comes to insurance, knowing that we don’t just specialize in one product is key for our clients. What am I known for? When it comes to my clients I have no days off I am always available they are not just my clients, they then become family and I think that’s what they cherish the most. I put their needs first before anything else, we don’t just sell you a policy we educate you and knowing the value a life insurance policy has. Most financial services firms are limited to select services and solutions. We take pride in the fact that we are able to offer our clients access to global solutions with actively managed investment portfolios, custom insurance solutions as well business consulting and final financial arrangements such as wills and trusts. What does success mean to you?
Success can be defined in many different ways. To me, success is achieving a desire or goal, often accompanied by a feeling of satisfaction a fulfillment and accomplishment.
