I am originally from Brazil and moved to Atlanta eighteen years ago. After working at many different waxing studios throughout Atlanta, I always felt that there was something missing from the hair removal experience. That is when I decided to open my own studio and Sweet Peach Wax & Sugaring Studio was born. At Sweet Peach, I decided to go beyond waxing and was the first studio to offer Sugaring Hair Removal in Atlanta. Sugaring is an ancient Middle Eastern practice of hair removal that uses an all-natural paste made from sugar, water and lemon juice to remove the hair follicle from the root. As the first sugarist in the city, I have been able to grow professionally by teaching the craft to others.
Sweet Peach has redefined the hair removal experience in Atlanta and has constantly been named the Best by local and national media. With that experience, I decided to open Swatch Box Beauty in Buckhead to do the same for the nail and beauty experience.
Has it been a smooth road?
No, nothing is ever smooth. but nothing is impossible either. With dedication and hard work, you can achieve anything you want. When I came here 18 years ago, I didn’t even know how to speak English and have been able to achieve my dreams.

What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
For those just starting out, don’t wait for the right time as there is no right time. If you wait for the right time, you will never get anything done.
