Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiara Taitt.
Hi Kiara, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As a 22-year-old New York native residing in Metro Atlanta with my family, I have a unique story to tell. In December of 2021, I achieved a major milestone in my academic journey when I graduated early from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Media Entrepreneurship. It was a momentous occasion that marked the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. Throughout my time at Georgia State, I was able to develop my passion for entrepreneurship. I was exposed to a wide range of ideas and concepts, and I was encouraged to think critically and creatively about the ways in which I could apply my knowledge to make a difference in the world. Graduating early was no small feat, it required a tremendous amount of discipline and commitment. But the sense of accomplishment that I felt as I walked across the stage and received my degree made it all worthwhile. As I move forward in my career, I am grateful for the education and experience that I gained at Georgia State. My degree has prepared me for a wide range of opportunities, and I am excited to see where my passion and hard work will take me in the years to come.
I’m an identical twin which means I have a special bond with someone who shares my genes, but I am also determined to make my mark in the world and stand out on my own. Growing up, my twin sister and I have always been passionate about dancing, starting training at just six years old. My love for art led me to become a member of the Dancing Dolls of Atlanta, an elite dance team with a reputation for excellence. I honed my skills and became an alumna of this prestigious organization, but I didn’t stop there. I continued to dance in church, using my talent to bring joy and inspiration to others.
In addition to my passion for dance, I am also a savvy entrepreneur. I am a business owner who’s dedicated to achieving generational wealth, financial freedom, and time freedom. My chosen path is real estate investing, and I am making waves in this field by investing in and flipping tax-delinquent properties, specifically parcels of land. My expertise doesn’t stop there, as I am also specialized in rental arbitrage and corporate leasing. I initially incorporated and classified my business as a property management entity as I managed over 100 Airbnbs interning for a successful entrepreneur and property management company in the latter years of my student career at Georgia State University.
However, what drives me the most is my faith in God. In all things, I am driven by my faith in Him. For me, faith is not just a set of beliefs, but a way of life. It shapes my decisions, my priorities, and my goals. Whether it’s in my personal life, my career, or my entrepreneurial endeavors, I always look to God for guidance and direction. By putting God at the center of my life, I have found a source of strength, courage, and hope. My faith has given me the confidence to take risks, the resilience to overcome setbacks, and the humility to stay grounded in the face of success. I know that everything I have achieved is through God’s grace, and I strive to honor Him in all that I do. Overall, my faith is a testament to the power of belief and the importance of having a strong spiritual foundation. I hope my story will inspire and encourage others to follow in my footsteps and make faith a cornerstone of their own lives.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As an entrepreneur, business owner, and real estate investor, I have faced numerous obstacles and challenges along the way. Starting a business and investing in real estate requires a lot of hard work, dedication, and persistence. It’s not always a smooth ride, and there are times when I’ve had to face difficult challenges. One of the most significant challenges I’ve faced is the fear of failure. As an entrepreneur, I have to take risks and make decisions that could potentially lead to failure. It can be daunting to invest a lot of time, money, and resources into something that may not work out, but I’ve learned that failure is a part of the journey, and it’s important to learn from it and move forward. Another challenge is the unpredictability of the market. The real estate market is constantly changing, and it can be difficult to predict what will happen in the future. It’s important to be flexible and adapt to changes quickly to stay ahead of the competition. As a business owner, I’ve also faced challenges with managing finances, marketing my business, and building a strong team. It takes time to build a successful business, and it’s important to have patience and a clear vision of where I want to go.
Being an identical twin may also present challenges, such as feeling pressured to live up to expectations or comparisons with your sibling. Being an identical twin is a unique and fascinating aspect of your identity that sets you apart from others. Your shared genetic makeup means that you likely have many similarities with your twin, from physical appearance to personality traits and interests. However, you are also likely to have your own unique qualities and experiences that differentiate you from your twin and shape your individual identity. Being a twin is very special and allows a lifetime bond. I have a built-in companion and support system who understands me in a way that few others can. Overall, being an identical twin is a fascinating aspect of my identity that has shaped my life in meaningful ways. My twin sister, Kyla, has used this challenge as an idea to launch and brand a clothing line named Identically Distinct. Identically Distinct aims to celebrate the individuality of twins who share a close physical resemblance. The brand recognizes that twins may look the same, but they are their own unique individuals with their own distinct personalities and interests.
Despite the challenges and trials I’ve faced, I have remained determined and focused on my goals. I have learned to embrace failure and use it as an opportunity to learn and grow. I have also sought out mentorship and guidance from successful entrepreneurs and real estate investors to learn from their experiences. In the end, I know that challenges and obstacles will always be a part of the journey, but with faith, perseverance, and a positive attitude, I can overcome any obstacle and achieve my goals.

In my work as a real estate investor and entrepreneur, I have found a unique way to inspire others through social media platforms. I document my journey in the real estate industry as a faith-driven young woman, sharing my successes, failures, and lessons learned along the way. My hope is to inspire others to invest in themselves and their dreams, just as I have done. Through Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms, I share my journey with a community of like-minded individuals who are also striving for success. I offer advice, insights, and encouragement to those who are just starting out or who may be facing their own challenges in the industry.
By documenting my journey, I hope to show others that anything is possible with hard work, dedication, and faith in oneself and in God. I hope to inspire others to take action and pursue their own dreams, whether it’s in real estate or any other field.
I believe that my story is a testament to the power of faith and determination, and I want to use my platform to share that message with as many people as possible. Through social media, I hope to make a positive impact on the lives of others and inspire them to invest in themselves, their passions, and their futures.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my fondest childhood memories is when my entire family came to see me and my twin sister perform at our first dance recital. It was a big deal for us, as we had been rehearsing for months and were excited to show off our skills on stage. I remember feeling nervous as we waited backstage, but my biological and bonus parents were there to offer words of encouragement and support. They had taken time off work to be there for us, and it meant so much to have them in the audience. As we took the stage, I felt a rush of excitement and adrenaline. My sister and I danced our hearts out, and the applause from the audience was thunderous. I looked out into the crowd and saw my entire family beaming with pride, and it filled me with joy and gratitude.
After the recital, we all went out to dinner. It was a special moment for our family, and I will always cherish the memory of us coming together to support each other and celebrate our accomplishments. That day, I learned the importance of having a strong support system, and how much it means to have loved ones in your corner cheering you on. It’s a lesson that has stayed with me throughout my life, and I am grateful for all my parents, who have always been there for me, my sister, and two younger siblings every step of the way.
