Hi Samantha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2016, I weighed 265lbs, was pre-diabetic and sick. I found an olive oil and balsamic vinegar store in Blue Ridge and discovered amazing oils and vinegar. Already being an amazing cooks, they made cooking even more delicious. They changed my life once I realized that I needed to get healthy and I could eat very clean super easy with the oils and vinegar. I would add the white balsamic to my water and cocktails for the flavor to trim calories and get extra water in. They have helped me maintain an almost 132lb weight loss. We carry very high polyphenol olive oil, so I use it on my skin, my hair and I take a tbsp daily. Our vinegar is made from the mother, so it’s a great way to get in additional probiotics.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I bought the business in December of 2018 and Covid hit 2020. We have such an amazing town and my customers made sure we stayed in business.

We sell artisanal olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We also have high polyphenol olive oil which is what removes the free radicals from the body. We currently sell one of the highest polyphenol olive oils in the world. We offer catering, charcuterie graze tables, private olive oil tastings, pasta classes and so much more.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Being in holistic nutrition, I still love to eat all the wrong things but in moderation now. And being a single mom, it’s important for me to have that so my kids get a chance to be kids but also know how to choose good foods and enjoy those that aren’t so great for us.
