Conversations with KeAnna Clay

Today we’d like to introduce you to KeAnna Clay.

Hi KeAnna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I haven’t always been the most confident or knowledgeable about much but when it comes to makeup something just clicked. I started out just doing mine and my five sisters’ makeup, then it grew into friends and then eventually a business. I make every blank canvas I touch a signature piece of art. It’s a passion of mind to make individuals look as good as they should feel. I don’t believe I alter beauty rather, I enhance the beautiful features I’m given.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The business hasn’t been smooth I can say between finances and the pandemic my consistency stammered here and there but my talent and passion never wavered.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a freelance makeup artist. I specialize in eyeshadow looks and I’m known for my soft slay and also my wedding art. I think what sets me apart is making each guest feel just a beautiful at the beginning of the slay as they will be at the end. I put passion in every face I slay.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I work a 9-5 and I also have 5 kids so just putting my all into my dream also is a risk in itself. I have invested a lot into this business cause I know I will be a celebrity artist sooner than later.
