Hi Bathshua, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I decided after being in the medical field for many years, it was time for a career change. I still wanted to make a difference and a positive impact in people’s lives. I desired to work with women primarily. The goal was definitely entrepreneurship but I hadn’t quite figured it all out yet. I prayed about it and asked God to give me the vision of what my next steps should be.
During this process, I decided there were a couple of body insecurities that I wanted to address of my own which included a smaller waistline. Surgery was definitely not an option for me so I began looking into non-surgical treatments. This is where I discovered Body Sculpting and non-invasive laser liposuction procedures. After doing my research on these options for myself, my actual vision became clear.
I instantly forgot about my own insecurities and thought about how many women I could impact by helping them with their insecurities! I wanted to aim to empower women to feel confident and comfortable in their bodies, all while promoting body positivity.
I decided to further my education and take all the necessary steps to become a body sculpting professional, all while still maintaining my current position in the medical industry.
This is where it all started and the “Goddess Body Bar” was created!
With hard work and dedication, I have been blessed to expand my brand and business in two other states Dallas, Texas and Dayton, Ohio where I was born and raised.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This journey has definitely had its ups and downs! When Covid hit the world, it impacted not only individuals and families but businesses as well. Unfortunately, my business was affected. I was forced to shut down for months with no end in sight.
I thank God who allowed me to stay positive and prayerful through it all. I decided to take that time to invest in furthering my education even more. I received my certification to become a body sculpting trainer.
What started out as a minor setback became a major step towards becoming even better in the industry and community that I serve!

Non-invasive laser liposuction and body sculpting are cosmetic treatments designed to reduce localized fat deposits and contour the body without the need for surgery. These treatments can be seen as a form of self-investment, allowing people to take time for themselves and address any concerns they may have about their bodies. Promoting self-care is essential in maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Self-care is a must for me!

The main advice I would offer to someone just starting out in the industry is always to be integral, customer service oriented, empathetic, professional, and knowledgeable.
Don’t ever think you know everything. Look into options and opportunities that will help you achieve growth toward your goals. Never stop learning!
Most importantly, don’t give up! That moment could have been your breakthrough!
