Hi Jasmine, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey began about 3 1/2 years ago in Decatur, inside a nail salon. However, everything changed when the pandemic hit and I lost my job. It was a difficult time, and I found myself battling depression. But instead of letting it consume me, I made a decision to believe in myself and pursue my passion. That’s how VPBODYCARESPA came into action.
I started small, operating out of a 12×12 suite. But I transformed it into a serene spa oasis, offering post-op care, body contouring, and detox services. I created an irresistible deal for my services, and it didn’t take long for it to go viral. Suddenly, my schedule was completely booked for the next 3-4 months. It was a remarkable success in such a short period.
Motivated by this achievement, I decided to take a leap of faith and open my first storefront. I expanded my services and hired a few independent contractors to help make my spa complete. As my business grew, I discovered new ways to generate income. I started hosting women empowerment events and invited other women-owned businesses in the spa industry to showcase their brands and products. These events were free, allowing attendees to experience our spa services while fostering a relaxing and inviting environment.
Demand for my skills and knowledge grew, leading me to offer affordable classes on non-invasive services. I remained steady and busy in my first storefront and decided to once again bet on myself. I moved into a bigger space, a 2000+ sq ft spa in Peachtree Corners, GA, conveniently located near major areas like Alpharetta, Roswell, Midtown, Buckhead, and Sandy Springs. Our facility is beautiful, and with a growing team, we are now a one-stop spa offering non-invasive treatments, beauty treatments, detox treatments, and aesthetic treatments provided by medical professionals. We also have a small wellness boutique within our facility.
With the expanded space, we are excited to host more events and spa parties where people can come together to relax and rejuvenate. It has been an incredible journey filled with challenges and triumphs, but I am grateful for every step that has brought me to where I am today.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
While the beginning of my journey was relatively smooth, things have changed as my business has grown rapidly along with my vision and plans. The struggle now lies in continuing that growth and elevating my brand’s presence. Previously, I found success through my knowledge and experience in sales and marketing in the corporate world. However, it has become challenging to consistently come up with fresh and innovative ideas to attract new clients for the additional services we offer, such as massage therapy, facials, and waxing.
Having been accustomed to relying on my core services that I started my business with, I find it difficult to attract a larger audience for these new services. However, I am confident that with our amazing team’s efforts, over time, we will see the payoff. It’s a matter of constantly adapting and finding new ways to engage and draw in clientele while maintaining the excellent services we are known for.

VPBODYCARESPA was founded with the intention of empowering women to prioritize self-care and gain confidence through our services and products. Our brand is well-known for body contouring, post-op care, and teaching women to believe in themselves and become successful entrepreneurs.
What sets us apart from others in the industry is our exceptional customer service and the extensive knowledge that myself and my team possess regarding the services we provide. We take great pride in the impact we have had on the lives of countless women, particularly those looking to enter the beauty industry. Lately, we’ve reached out to a prominent networking group and a local realtor, offering them the opportunity to host their upcoming events at our spa. We are always open to hosting spa events for other businesses interested in partnering with us.
In addition to these collaborations, we have a strong desire to establish partnerships with local schools and corporations, with the aim of offering wellness programs. We believe that introducing wellness initiatives to these organizations can have a positive impact on individuals’ overall well-being.
Our goal is to create a space that goes beyond traditional spa services. We aim to foster connections and relationships within the community by providing a welcoming environment for networking events and meaningful collaborations.
