Life & Work with Arthur Bobian

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arthur Bobian.

Arthur Bobian

Hi Arthur, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Arthur “COOO ArTY” Bobian… Singer/Songwriter, Fashion Enthusiast, and of course Actor/Production and Media company owner (COOO media). My path and love for the arts in entirety started in my hometown “Money Earning Mount Vernon” which has birthed some of the biggest legends to date. There’s no other feeling like when you first step out on that stage.

After many performances both theater and music I was introduced to film which heightened my interest that much more. One thing about myself is outside of my artistry I’ve always been the type to research and gain as much knowledge daily into the business side of the entertainment world.

Fast forward I started my Media Company and just wrapped the first season of my TV show that I created entitled “Minding Our Black-Owned Business”.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Smooth??? Absolutely not, lol but extremely rewarding. The thing about doing it yourself is now you’re in charge of literally every moving part. So there was obviously a learning curve from directing to script structure etc. and most importantly building a team that not only sees your vision but believes in it equally. Which I have been blessed to have with me along this journey!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Well, I would consider myself the epitome of the word “Creative” Fashion, Film, and Music are my realms in said by space. As stated earlier, I just created and filmed my first TV show under my COOO media imprint. Which currently I am truly most proud of being able to create something and then see it all the way through to fruition is one of those indescribable feelings.

COOO is an acronym that I created that embodies everything I stand for and believe in “Creating Our Own Opportunities”. It’s like why wait just create it. In the fashion realm, I dress to express and hope to inspire and empower others to own what they wear in the most stylish yet affordable way #Fresh4Less. Lastly with music, I just love that I’m able to add the audible soundtracks to my ecosystem.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
First and always God deserves all the credit. Secondly, just the overall support I receive from my close friends and family, and lastly my team Brandon Daley (Co-Director and Lead DP) his apprentice Justin, and a few other DPs that have helped work on this project as well.
