Inspiring Conversations with Morgan J Ingram of AMP

Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan J Ingram.

Morgan J Ingram

Hi Morgan J., thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Back at UGA, I noticed how much students who gamed would never go out. So, I started Collegiate Gaming Lan (CGL) where I hosted video game tournaments on college campuses into a profitable gig. This got me an invite to be published in our local Red and Black publication. This exposure invited me to speak about our company’s success at local organizations. I got hooked on speaking.

From there, I hit up open mic nights, expanding my audience and refining my skills. Before I knew it, I spoke at high school basketball halftime shows, colleges, and local business events motivating the next generation with stories from my journey.

Then came a game-changer: the National Speakers Association. I met someone deep into the tech world, and It gave me a glimpse into a new career, leading me to become an SDR. I decided to share my tech journey through the SDR Chronicles on LinkedIn and YouTube. The response was incredible and my LinkedIn blew up.

After working as an SDR manager, JB Sales brought me on board. I worked with some of the world’s rapidly growing tech companies for over three years, helping them with their top of funnel strategy. Companies included Slack, Salesforce, Zoom, and Snowflake.

Now, I am working on my media company. We’re all about B2B Media Production, specializing in events and videos to help companies advance their potential clients through the buyer journey.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road at all. I believe that if you are looking to strive for anything great, there will be some ups and downs. That is a part of the game.

The main struggles have been feeling alone when no one believes in your ideas, the hard moments when your idea isn’t going anywhere, and when you face success getting hate because it conflicts with other people’s business models.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Ascension Media Productions or known as AMP is a B2B Media Production company that focuses on video and events. We use video and events to advance the buyer journey by providing potential clients a unique experience that they normally aren’t used to. I have been building this company for the past year and it’s been an awesome journey.

What sets us apart is that as a founder I am a creator who has built an audience and my team does high-end production for some of the top brands in the world. I am the most proud of our work so far in working on our first event, which has already been sold out.

We focus on the following services for our business:
– Event activations
– Producing shows such as video podcasts and virtual events
– Founder-Led Content Creation
– Subject Matter Expert and Content Creator Integration

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
They can support me on LinkedIn and YouTube. My handle is Morgan J Ingram on both platforms. If anyone wants to collab they can message me directly on LinkedIn to start conversations.
