Today we’d like to introduce you to Micah Ford.
Hi Micah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Micah Ford also known as Akachè! I’m a photographer and fashion designer here in Atlanta. I started off in Fashion but when Covid hit, I pivoted from fashion into photography since 2021.
I currently goto State, and my junior year, I took a lot of free shoots on campus and with Greeks, and now two years later, I’m known as the one best photographer at GSU.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
With Photography it definitely was a lot of learning curves, investing a lot of money, however I received a lot of help and mentoring.
I would say in fashion, I ran into a lot of bumps because even tho I was doing well, I ended up with excess inventory.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am primarily a photographer here in Atlanta, I’m known for doing grad shoots weddings, and brand work!
I’m most proud of being captured so many people’s special Moments!
What sets my name apart is my creativity and innovation for my clients, plus my customer services.
