My journey in the advertising industry has been driven by a deep commitment to inclusivity and diversity. As the great-great-niece of Sergeant Alfred B. Hilton, an African-American Union Army soldier and Medal of Honor recipient during the American Civil War, my lineage further fuels my dedication to this cause.
My career began at an advertising agency in New York City, where I worked across various verticals such as luxury, financial, and telecommunication brands. It was during this time that I noticed a significant lack of representation in boardrooms and the persistent oversight of diverse audiences for advertising campaigns. What I observed was that in many cases, the advertising campaigns and their messaging often fell short in resonating with or effectively addressing the unique qualities and needs of underrepresented communities.
Motivated by the need for change, I founded Digital Culture Group, a digital marketing and advertising technology company with a clear vision: to make inclusivity a driving force within the industry. My goal was to help brands establish meaningful connections with their diverse audiences and ensure that no one was left behind.
As the visionary founder, I have worked tirelessly to not only advance my clients but also foster innovation within the digital ecosystem. My mission is deeply rooted in creating enduring relationships with consumers of all backgrounds. I believe that inclusivity is not just a business imperative; it’s a social responsibility.
