Today we’d like to introduce you to Shyann Roberts. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not always been a smooth road. Being consistent can sometimes be hard, on top of just always wanting to do the same things over and over, you’re always trying to find ways to keep people interested/engaged in what you are putting out there in the world.
It can take away from a lot of your personal life if you allow it. But at the end of the day, it’s your life and your journey, I would much rather do something I am passionate about than do something just to get by in life. That’s no disrespect to others that do but I couldn’t wake up completely happy with myself every day knowing I could have done more.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an entertainer/creative, so with that being said I’m whatever I need to be in the moment to make my visions come true.
I’ve been singing, dancing, writing, etc since a very young age, and it’s only taught me so far that I have to stay true to who I am. Because that is what separates me apart from others. I can only be inspired by others, but not desire to be them just admire the work they put in.
The one thing I am most proud of is the way I view life, and how I can make things into my own, it’s very unique, to be a storyteller through music it’s such a beautiful thing, I love who I am inside/ out and the gift god gave me I’ll forever be grateful.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I am a very simple/focused girl, I don’t have anything surprising that most people who know me or work with me don’t know yet.
