Hi Jennifer, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started at 14 years old building stairs with my father in high end Alpharetta homes. As I learned the basics of working hard and how to earn a dollar, I grew a passion for real estate and bringing genuine services to others.
Selling real estate isn’t just a job. It’s a lifestyle. Truly caring for others, assisting colleagues along side you, and changing lives, stories, and new chapters. My #winwithjen is an understatement. We build stories, memories, and futures one home at a time.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In real estate, it’s never a smooth road. There are always bumps in the road with every deal.
Sometimes, it’s building someone’s credit whose job was destroyed or a failing home inspection from an investor putting lipstick on a bad home. It’s a constant battle, but I love it. It’s kind of like being a lawyer, in a way. Fighting for your clients, advising them, and ensuring they are thrilled with the biggest investment they will ever have.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Team Home For Hearts is woman-owned and branded. We built this team to teach Realtors and guide them along their career paths. We’ve also built it for those who need a place called home, not just a transaction. We care about our clients. We go as far as helping them with moving boxes, hosting housewarming parties, and staying in contact with them quarterly. We aren’t just Realtors but a resource for future hiccups, lifelong partners.
We are branded with 1 Look Real Estate as our broker. First, we wanted to open our boutique brokerage, but we’d rather spend our days loving our clients than worrying about the next Realtor we’ll hire. 1 Look Real Estate has always been there for us and supported us, and they have our backs as much as we have our clients’ backs.
We are a place anyone can call home: first-time home buyers, veterans, out-of-state movers, investors, and more!
What makes you happy?
My daughter’s smile, my hardworking husband, my successful team, traveling the world, and studying other cultures. Why? Life is about appreciating the small things, people, and blessings.
