Hi Zach, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
After college, I started working with small businesses in my free time as a passion, helping them with web development and other technical needs. Eventually, a few local restaurant owners asked if I could build a delivery app, and here we are five years later. I taught myself programming, built a team, launched the Appymeal app, and we are steadily growing.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest struggle is realizing how difficult it was to build, maintain, and grow an app. Most people would likely assume that development is the hardest part of building an app. In reality, getting users is by far the hardest part.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Appymeal is the first of its kind, a delivery and pickup app specifically built for local & independently owned restaurants.
Our goal is to provide a marketplace for these local hotspots to thrive while offering them a suite of services at low cost. We take the time to meet and partner with each restaurant we work with. The relationships we build through this help us grow and better service users and restaurants.

Over the years, I have had countless conversations with local business owners, entrepreneurs, and developers, who have helped me shape this idea and app. Without all those friendly conversations and perspectives, our app would not be anywhere near where it is today.
